At New ¹ú²ú¸£Àû¼§ School of Trades, students train to become safety-conscious drivers in the trucking industry. During the Class A CDL Training at the New ¹ú²ú¸£Àû¼§, PA Campus, students will be able to utilize a balance of classroom instruction and hands-on behind-the-wheel training. Students will be prepared to pass both the DMV written CDL exam and the skills test.

Begin a Trucking Career with a Class A CDL
New ¹ú²ú¸£Àû¼§ School of Trade’s CDL training in PA will educate trainees on the basics of trucking equipment, truck driving, and the trucking industry. Class A CDL training prepares students to land an entry-level job operating a Class A commercial motor vehicle. Class A vehicles are defined as any combination of vehicles with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, provided the GVWR of the vehicles being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.Ìý
With the training provided by our truck driving school in New ¹ú²ú¸£Àû¼§, graduates can become truck drivers in a diverse range of industries. Once the individual earns their Commercial Driver’s License, they will meet the qualifications to begin entry-level positions such as:
- Long-haul / Over-the-Road driver (OTR)

New ¹ú²ú¸£Àû¼§ School of Trades’ CDL Training students will take their Commercial Driver’s License skills test at in Pulaski, Pennsylvania. TTS is certified by the PA Department of Transportation (Cert #23074) as a third-party CDL test site for Class A, B, and C commercial vehicles. Truck Testing Services primarily serves the CDL testing needs of current CLP holders from Pennsylvania and Ohio as well as individuals from any state with a valid CLP from their state of residence.
I don’t even know where to start with the amount of excellence of the faculty of the New ¹ú²ú¸£Àû¼§ School of Trades learning facility. I had some challenging times and every instructor there (and I mean every instructor) lent a hand to aid me to complete the course and receive my CDL license. It was difficult at times, but every teacher was a great cheerleader as well as an instructor. I got the push I needed as well as the laughs and encouragement to complete the course. Class B CDL Training
New ¹ú²ú¸£Àû¼§ School of Trades is now approved for Class B CDL training to pair with our Class A training. The Class B training trains students to operate Class B commercial vehicles. Drivers must meet the same qualifications set forth by the FMCSA and pass the DOT physical. Graduates of the Class B program will be eligible to drive vehicles such as dump trucks, buses, delivery trucks, and more. The Class B CDL program is 82.5 hours long.
